I was looking through all my photo albums for the wedding slide show and I stumbled upon all these old photos of mine and I told myself that I absolutely have to post this on my blog!
They are so funny... I mean all of us look so funny, especially Paige and Esther.

Just look at Andrew and Esther with that awful cap, Paige with her ugly 'compound eyes' glasses. Only Amanda and myself looked normal. Hehehe

I'm always being told to my face "You are JUST a frigging designer!". What am I suppose to answer to that phrase? How am I suppose to react? And what do they mean by that? Designers are suppose to be the lowest of the lowest form in the society? They are useless and unworthy of anybody's time?
Perhaps all of you should be more thoughtful and considerate when passing these comments.
What is graphics? Graphics are needed to enliven a given space. But to
create impact they must be designed and used sensibly. Graphic design
is not just about creating good looking stuff, but creating impact and
communicating sense. Not such an easy job. Depending on the purpose of
a graphic to be created, audience and medium, designers think of
different ideas and concepts to communicate the message in the best
possible way. Graphic designers need to be creative with a constant
supply of fresh and unique ideas, able to work under tight deadlines
and should keep updating with new technology and demands.
The Purpose of Design
Design is meant to be used as a facilitator. You use design to
assist the user in the task they are attempting to accomplish. If they
need to find information, you’ll likely utilize tools such as
navigation or search functionality to accomplish this. Things like
layout and typography allow you to highlight information that is more
important or to minimize things that may be less important.
The Value
It may not seem obvious but design adds credibility. Some people
sometimes don’t get as it is so subliminal. As a result, they
underestimate the value of design. Think of the products you buy or the
stores that you shop at. Have you ever hesitated on a purchase because
of the way it looked?

Love the kitchen top! I can just imagine myself having a great breakfast in this beautiful kitchen. Not forgetting the ever beautiful Kitchenaid mixer that turquoise serving plate.
Can't remember where I saw this but it's really nice. Everything looks so cozy and warm. Love the bedroom. Perhaps I should start decorating my room now.
How can ANYONE resist these? They are the latest from Crate&Barrel and they are sooooo cheap. Compared to Singapore, at least. Stemless martini and wine glass is ONLY $2.95. How cheap is that? The same goes for the dollie plate. Sigh....if only I'm in US.
Aren't they cute? I think I will try my luck at sewing these pillows. Hmm...or maybe I could psycho my mum into making these for me and add a little sunshine to my place! Muahahhaha!!
